Quality meets Quality

In 1961 Otto Apel, Hannsgeorg Beckert and Gilbert Becker founded the architectural practice ABB. With around 40 realized projects in Frankfurt they shape the city scape; including the Städtische Bühnen, Deutsche Bundesbank (German Central Bank), the Hotel Interconti as well as the high rise buildings of the Dresdner and Deutsche Bank.

On the occasion of the inclusion of  ABB’s-archive into the collection of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (German architectural museum), two theme nights and special guided tours take place alongside the current exhibition “STAGES, BANKS, HANGARS. Frankfurt Projects by Otto Apel\ABB”.

In this context Till Schneider will report, under the banner “Quality meets Quality”, about the Renovation of the Silvertower, which was implemented by schneider+schumacher from 2008 and 2011; about challenges, collaboration and lessons learned from this project. Admission: 5 Euro, reduced prize 2,50 Euro.
